At present, Parthiv Gohil is one of India's leading singers.
He's the winner of India's biggest music reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma. His work as a film singer started with the title song and backing vocals for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film “Devdas." He's sung musical hits for blockbuster Bollywood movies such as “Sawaariya," “Sahib Biwi aur Gangster," “Heroes”, and “EMI”. His voice was also lent to th\e top rated television and Youtube show, "MTV Coke Studio." More so, he's a very prominent singer in the rich Gujurati culture, in which he's helped to lead the Gujurati Jalso.
As an artist, Parthiv is an explorer and discoverer of sound. He performs worldwide, while meeting new musicians and grasping their sounds through his travels. His brilliance lies in spinning together arrangements, instruments, treatments, classical and folk elements, and new and old sounds. Music is most definitely ingrained in him on a soulful level.
