brooke bailey on SoundBetter

Check out the latest song I worked on newly released: Madison Paris ft Justin Love - Notice me Let me write your next hit ☺️

I write with labels/artists mainly in the UK. Pop, RnB and Trap soul are my main styles though I am versatile. Graduating from The Brit School of Performing arts helped me in establishing a creative career path that has allowed me the opportunity to travel as far as Asia where I had the pleasure of singing with one of Solange Knowles support vocalists for 6months. I developed my writing ability working very closely with producer Crazy Cousins 'One Dance'-Drake for 2 yrs and also wrote a song that got recorded by Omi the number 1 hit singer for 'Cheerleader.

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: I can make you feel any emotion that is desired through music. My strongest skill is the high quality and speed I work at. High quality results is my priority so the process is never rushed but I enjoy what I'm doing so much that I lose track of time and before you know it I've written a song in under 3-4 hrs sometimes even 1hour. I'm just super passionate.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: I bring a story captured by a vibrant voice, emotion and something you want to listen back to over and over again.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: I have been writing for over 10 years now so mu process is really natural. If I'm provided with a brief I will allow that to guide my creative direction and if I'm given a bit more free reign I will listen to an instrumental hit record and listen back to melodies that sound catchy and right for the track. Sometimes the lyrics come straight away and other times I let go of forcing an outcome and the words just arrive in my head as I'm humming along to the Melody.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: I work from home using Logic Pro X a Rode Nt2a microphone and a Scarlett interface. It's a super simple set up that allows me to focus on delivering great quality lyrics and melody in a short time frame.

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: I love Frank Ocean, Tame Impala and Billie Eilish aswell music back from the 90s such as Dido, Backstreet boys and Busted . Also John Bellion is an absolute genius!

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: I create catchy hooks, melodies and lyrics that are memorable, simple but clever.
