Hey there. My name's Mike Geier. I was nicknamed MacGyver by a popular DJ, due to my ability to take a few ordinary tracks and make 'em explode. I compose music for films (Brokeback Mountain, Charlie's Angels-Full Throttle), commercials (Kellogg's cereals, Infiniti Automobiles), television (Sesame Street, Better Call Saul, Lil Glooscap And The Legends Of Turtle Island)
My main instruments is the uilleann pipes (irish bagpipes) but I play many more bagpipes from Spain, France, Italy and Eastern Europe. Besides I play irish flutes, whistles, and other kinds of folk flutes and recorders. I can add a distinctive "folk" flavour to your recording. I made many of my instruments in my workshop near Milano, Italy.
