I'm a mastering engineer in Boulder, Colorado. I've worked on several GRAMMY-nominated projects. I enjoy working on a wide variety of genres from rock to R&B, though I am known for my work in folk, Americana and bluegrass. I value dynamics over loudness, emphasizing the emotive power of songs instead of catering to the masses.

Angie has over 35 years in the recording and sound world from tracking and mixing to location recording and live sound; analog to digital. Angie owns Avocado Productions and works to make every project that of which she and the artist can be proud.

AudibleOddities was founded in San Francisco during the late 90's by multi-Grammy, Fryderyk, & JUNO nominated, and ADISQ/SOCAN winning mastering engineer, Shawn Hatfield. Passionate about the science and emotion of sound, Shawn’s been fully immersed as a mastering engineer for over 25 years.

I specialize in alternative metal music. I use Pro Tools as main DAW, I have also mixed for other genres like classical, jazz, blues, country and folk/bluegrass music. I have been doing this since 1998. I very easy going, clean recordings, organized, and detailed oriented. I am helpful and also an educator.

With five years of hands-on experience in live audio at venues such as Levitt Pavilion Denver and a Master's Degree in Recording Arts from CU Denver, my expertise in mixing and mastering will help you bring your vision to life.
