I am a self-employed musician from Berlin. I have been playing and making music for more than 30 years. My ability to play a variety of different styles is inspired by my passion for music. I am currently working with various artists, playing live, but also recording songs in my own studio.

My studio is permanently set up with top-quality mics and a vast array of instruments ranging from the usual congas, bongos, cajon, tambourines, cowbells etc. to more exotic instruments like calabash, trines, tabla, talking drum, waterphone, & tuned percussion. No session is too big or too small and I am able to work to the strictest deadlines.

Sound engineers are artists too! My approach is free-form and instinctive, I see the sound engineer as a musician and the mix as a performance. Think of how a pianist plays a piano, or a drummer hits a drum kit; I use knobs, switches and buttons. Over 15 years of experience, I've worked for the BBC & released for top record labels (Sony, Virgin)
