Jordan Chavous is a Jersey based, freelance bass player. Since graduating from Eastern University in 2015, Jordan has gone on to perform around the country and be featured on various recording projects. Additionally, Jordan is the host and creator of the podcast, Convos with Jordan Chavous, not streaming on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
Achieving artist's vision through focus, direction and artistic freedom. That's the goal. An artist needs to be completely and genuinely in love with their songs. Music is personal and there is no "one size fits all" approach. Instead, I work very closely with every artist/producer to help translate their vision into polished, competitive and radio-ready songs.
Since recording three studio albums with Northern Irish rockers Ash, playing pop/rock mega-riffs, I've released my own spiky, power-pop/electro-pop solo albums, composing and creating ambient sonic dreamscapes with synths and guitars. As a session player I happily flip between filthy, cranked-up guitar solos and evocative, sweeping cinematic moods.
I define success as giving your best and being passionate at what you are doing.
