A choir-trained musician with a degree in media, emphasis on sound. I got out from the vocational college of Helsinki with a Pro Tools grant from Avid/msonic. Currently working out of my own studio and freelancing for Finnvox. I've handled sessions at the biggest studios in Finland, and i have a constant hunger for more.

Ben Shirken aka Beshken is an artist, producer, and mixer living in Brooklyn, New York. He has produced and mixed for an eclectic range of electronic, indie/jazz, and r&b artists such as The Dare, Spencer., Gus Dapperton, Mizu & Deli Girls. He attended NYU’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music where he received a BFA in Recorded Music.

Studied with Lewis Capaldi at music college, I have an extensive list of vocal technique qualifications which gives me ultimate control over my voice and the ability to sing most genres with authenticity and power. Harmonies and BVs expert. My own music has over 510k streams on Spotify. Also an accomplished Pianist and Session 'Cellist. Ego-free!

I play violin/viola/cello/upright bass/guitar/synths and can write and record my own arrangements/parts to your songs or compositions.

I am an experienced bass player with session credits including performances at Glastonbury Festival, Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Bristol Beacon, Edinburgh Fringe Festival and The Great Escape Festival. Live radio sessions include BBC Radio and FIP Radio, and soundtrack work for film and television including Sky and Aardman Animations.
