Hi, I'm Jeremy Johnston. I am a recording/mixing/mastering engineer. Over the past 15 years I've engineered thousands of songs by hundreds of artists from all around the world. My mixes have won dozens of awards including Best Americana, Best Singer-Songwriter, Best Rock and Best Instrumental Recording.

Hi! I have spent the last few years touring internationally with acts including Go West, Mike + The Mechanics, Nik Kershaw, Chris de Burgh, Taylor Dayne, Paul Young, Kim Wilde and many more. I now offer live drum tracks from my studio in the UK.

I love transforming a raw recording into a vibrant, dynamic piece of art that emotionally captures the listener. I've worked with Grammy winning Mix Engineers and Mastering Engineers. I play in a indie-rock band called Walden. We've played major fests across the nation (Bonnaroo, Shaky Knees, Kabboo, etc)

Lots of free time on my hands, work will be done fairly quickly but to a high standard.

I define my approach to music through my love of experimental sounds/genres and crafting a bespoke sonic world.

My focus while mixing doesn't just lie on setting the levels right, adding some fandy effects and getting the song ready for mastering. For me, it's about developing a sonic and artistic vision for the end result and helping you achieve that goal. At the end, a mix should satisfy you as an artist while also meeting professional standards.

I will mix and master your music with analog gear. I have an hybrid workflow, using all the character and tone that the analog console and gear gives me and taking advantage of the digital precision of plugins, to obtain the greatest possible fidelity. I will also provide you with the instrumental of the song and the master in both mp3 and wav.
