Mixing & Mastering Engineers, Producers & Songwriters who worked with Desire Lines

I'm a producer, composer and mix engineer working across avant-pop/dark-pop, experimental electronic, trip-hop, techno, shoegaze/indie and orchestral music. I'm drawn to the strange and unresolved, and I build each project's world together with the artist.

I'm a Live sound engineer based in Somerset, run a small PA hire company Maltings Audio

Looking for tight licks and riffs? Let's work together! I've been playing guitar for 14 years, mainly technical and progressive metal. Anyway, I want to point out I'm also interested on working on different genres, so as to extend my knowledge in as many musical contexts as possibile. That said, hit me up if you need a session guitarist!

With his steady hand and golden ear, Alex Lyon has been bringing balance to tracks for years at renowned studios across the US, from Supersonic Studios in Cambridge, Massachusetts and New York City’s historic Skyline Recording Studios with Steely Dan, to 19 years at The Bubble in Austin, Texas.

With my extensive experience and demand for quality, I always strive to give the music I'm working on the high end sound it deserves. After years of being disappointed in the lack of care and/or skill provided by external engineers on my productions, I've worked my way up to be able to provide high quality and musical mixes myself.

I help artists transform raw recordings into polished tracks that cut through and connect. My goal is simple: to make your music sound as powerful and emotional as you intended it to be.
