Jay Heiselmann is a sound engineer with over fifteen years of experience working in studios of all sizes. Jay currently works in Brooklyn out of Death by audio and specializes in mixing and mastering.

Music is passion and without passion life is colorless. I specialize in writing choruses and I’ve got a wide range of vocal styles and techniques. I also play a wide range of instruments.

I hold a conservatory degree in organ and composition, and primarily compose music for audiovisual projects such as documentaries and commercials. Besides this, I've had diverse experiences in commercial music composition outside of video. After extensively using Logic X, I'm currently employing Cubase 11 to create my compositions.
