Great Work! Super clear communication!
Vitor has not only the technical skill to turn a moderate track into a stellar piece of art, but also has the ear to lend the missing piece to any product.
He's incredibly detailed and motivated to his craft, as well as an honest and humble individual....A rare breed in this industry
Great mix and master engineer! It’s a pleasure to work with him. I’m a Music Producer from Brazil and I always send him my tracks to mix and master. It’s always sounds amazing.
If you want your track to go from intermediate sounding to expert sounding, in less than 24 hours, Vitor is the only “magic pill” I know.
Besides an amazing mixing engineer, Vitor is a great producer and knows so well how to work with ideas. He helped me so much in developing the defining sound of my tracks.
Interview with Vitor Cuccia
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: One of the latest ones was mixing the new Jake Miller record "Silver Lining", because of its pop "dance" feel to it and it was something very exciting for me to work on.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Music. With all seriousness tho, I try to surround myself with multiple projects at once, it doesn't matter the genre.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Rob Murray
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital. I can ensure the same high quality standard being in a hotel room or in my own studio because I'm not relying on a console or anything huge, instead I know my gear really well. The top records nowadays are fully made digitally.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That I'll bring up the quality in their projects.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love SOUNDS and music, so either if I'm mixing or producing I'm immersed in an universe of sound and improving that sound. There's nothing more rewarding to me,

A: "Can you make it sound like "this" record?" Yes.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Everybody's a producer.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: - How many songs are you looking to do? Depending on the quantity I can negotiate a better price! - Could you send me a few reference tracks so I know the sound you're going for? - Could you please send me a detailed information of what you're looking for?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Look to hire people that will be invested in your art, as opposed to people that are just trying to make money off of you.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Macbook Pro, Apollo Twin MkII, Sennheiser HD 650 headphones.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: About 5 years
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Agressive, yet clear
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Pharrell/Skrillex. I admire how they work with everything that involves music, from sound design to orchestras to electronic/pop music. That's what I want to do.

A: Focus on the idea

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Pharrell Williams; Skrillex; John Petrucci
