Vic is an amazing mixer. He is very patient with listening to what you want, he goes above and beyond expectations and cares about your vision. He even gives tips on how to get a better recorded song to make the mix even pop out more! I'd recommend Vic to anyone trying to find a reliable mixing engineer.
My first time working with Vic and he mastered a track beautifully! Easy to work with answers fast and gave me a good vibe from the beginning. Low ego and professional

Vic is the man! A pleasure to work with and a very talented mixer.
I was kind of anxious to try out Soundbetter but wanted to give it a shot! I was previously working with an engineer from Atlantic who wasn’t putting much effort into my mixes, So I decided to shop around for engineers. Found Vic on here and heard some of his mixes. His overall mixing skills are INSANE! He really knows how to make the vocals pop in the mix. I love how he’s very honest & puts 110% into all of his clients. It’s all about communication & he’s very good at it. I recommend him!
Vic is just awesome and if you need that billboard sound I suggest you go with Vic period.
VIC is not only a fantastic engineer his communication is by far the best I've ever experienced. I will be doing alot of projects with Vic 🔥💯

Just finished a song with Vic. His mixing and mastering is very high quality, Top 40/Radio ready. He is very responsive, punctual with finishing by a deadline, and extremely passionate about his work. I would highly recommend him to mix/master any artist's song!
Vitor has not only the technical skill to turn a moderate track into a stellar piece of art, but also has the ear to lend the missing piece to any product.
He's incredibly detailed and motivated to his craft, as well as an honest and humble individual....A rare breed in this industry
Great mix and master engineer! It’s a pleasure to work with him. I’m a Music Producer from Brazil and I always send him my tracks to mix and master. It’s always sounds amazing.
If you want your track to go from intermediate sounding to expert sounding, in less than 24 hours, Vitor is the only “magic pill” I know.
Besides an amazing mixing engineer, Vitor is a great producer and knows so well how to work with ideas. He helped me so much in developing the defining sound of my tracks.
Interview with Vic Cuccia
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Help take their music/idea to the next level, that being production and/or mixing.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Pharrell/Skrillex. I admire how they work with everything that involves music, from sound design to orchestras to electronic/pop music. That's what I want to do.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Macbook Pro, Apollo Twin MkII, Sennheiser HD 650 headphones.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: "Can you make it sound like "this" record?" Yes.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That I'll bring up the quality in their projects.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Pharrell Williams; Skrillex; John Petrucci; Manny Marroquin;
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: iMac, Apollo Twin MkII, Universal Audio, Adam A7x's, Sennheiser HD650s, Pro Tools, Ableton Live
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I understand the importance of incubation and staying fresh, so I structure my work process in separate stages where I keep myself operating at an optimum level throughout the session, therefore delivering the highest quality record.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I turn it into a record. I enjoy making songs sound "larger than life", and making the chorus hit you "in your face".
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Attention to detail; depth.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop, Latin/Pop, House Music & Hiphop/Trap.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Focus on the idea. Spend as much time as needed making sure the idea is as simple and as effective as possible, yet still memorable and unique; the song will then write itself.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Attitude, yet clear and detailed.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been doing this professionally for about 2-3 years now, yet been shadowing and interning with talented mentors for about 5-6.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Look to hire people that will be invested in your art, as opposed to people that are just trying to make money off of you. I only take on projects that I can and want to be invested in.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: - How many songs are you looking to do? Depending on the quantity I can negotiate a better price! - Could you send me a few reference tracks so I know the sound you're going for?
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Everybody's a producer/mixer.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love SOUNDS and music, so either if I'm mixing or producing I'm immersed in it, and improving that sound. There's nothing more rewarding to me than this.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital. I can ensure the same high quality standard being in a hotel room or in my own studio because I'm not relying on a console or anything huge that breaks more often than not and stops my workflow, instead I know my gear really well and can deliver every time. The top records nowadays are made fully in the box.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Currently working on an upcoming Sofia Reyes record; Malu Trevejo record; a few House Tracks with my friend Jaykø, amongst other projects.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I'm really proud of what I achieved on Malu Trevejo's record "Como Tu Me Quieres". It was a highly challenging mix, and on top of that I ended up Mastering the record as well which is definitely an added responsibility given I had already mixed it. Turned out amazing tho.
