  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: The project GREATFRUIT by Kid The Great(available on all streaming platforms) is a work of mine that I am especially proud of becuase I produced, engineered, mixed and mastered the whole EP front to back.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I am working on my first full length album as well as a few joint projects with other artists. I am also working on building a catalog of records to shop with some super dope writers.

  5. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  6. A: Digital because of the convenience and I am also traveling a lot so I prefer to pack light when it comes to equipment. Making digital come in very handy.

  7. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  8. A: My promise to my clients is that you will get always get a sound that you can feel and fully be happy with.

  9. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  10. A: My job is also my passion and life purpose. To curate vibes and bring people together using sound is what I live for. My job feeds my spirit and I make beats and write songs all day whether I am getting paid or not so I am grateful that I am now earning a living off of it.

  11. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  12. A: A common question from my engineering clients is "Did you go to school for this?" In which I would reply NO, self taught.

  13. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  14. A: I don't think there are any misconceptions about what I do. Anyone that knows me knows I bring the heat!

  16. A: What type of vibe do you want to feel from the music?

  17. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  18. A: My advice would be to take the leap and invest into to your future. I am offering bargain prices for a fresh sound that a lot of people are chasing and I am ready and willing to work on short notice, late hours etc.

  19. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  20. A: My computer, midi keyboard, guitar, mic and heaphones

  21. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  22. A: My career path has always been following my dreams of becoming a world class musician. I have been doing this 15 years. I first discovered my musical gifts at age 8 when I tried for drums in the school band and aced the test. I hit the ground running then and have been in playing in bands, writing, producing and composing music ever since. Continuously evolving and tuning my craft to become the Chameleon I am today.   23. Q: How would you describe your style?

  24. A: QUATUM WAVES. A listen into the future. It's about feeling a vibe and building on it. Very freeflowing and bold. A refresher from the cookie cooker sounds of today's industry

  25. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  26. A: I would love to work with artists like SZA, Jorja Smith, Kali Uchis, Willow Smith, Princess Nokia, Kelela, Rihanna, Anderson Paak., Travis Scott, Mick Jenkins, Kendrick Lamar. I feel like the sound that I would bring to the table would flourish with any artist that I respect and am inspired by.

  27. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  28. A: One of my go-to tips for music production is throwing your main melody and percussion slightly off of the quantized grid. This always creates a less robotic sounding bounce for me and can

  29. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  30. A: Hip Hop, Alternative Rnb, and soul music.

  31. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  32. A: My strongest skill is putting together drums in a beat. I love to experiment with percussion and manipulating sound. Layering melodies and really setting a stage for the artist to shine on is a specialty of mine as well.

  33. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  34. A: I bring the flavor, the riddim. The Sol! Drums that always knock and have a unique bounce. I am an expert at creating melodies that quickly spawn a catchy hook or flow. Balancing creating a popular sound with my own originality is something I have mastered.

  35. Q: What's your typical work process?

  36. A: I normally start with melody sound design and then chords or a riff and layer different sounds together to create unique blends. Drums and vocals usually come right after. I also like to frequently switch the process up by creating a vocal sample with my own voice or recording the environment live and sampling it.

  37. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  38. A: I am running my setup on PC and working in Fl studio 12 and Ableton Live 10 for production. I have a focusrite 2i4 interface, krk 5s and an se electronics x1 mic.
