Artists come to me to push their sound - I love that. At the end of the day, success in my eyes is connecting an artist with organic sounds and the ultimate goal of creating hit records. I'll help you take your sound to the next level , let's make some music!
Hey. I'm Andrew Snyder. An Artist, Music Producer, DJ, and Songwriter based in Raleigh, NC.
I've been writing music my entire life, beginning at the age of six. Growing up I learned to play piano, guitar, flute, drums, and bass - in that order!
Finally at 12 I got a dose of studio life recording a single I had written on the acoustic guitar and I was hooked.
Fast forward a few years I find myself at Dubspot Music Academy in New York City learning DJing / Tuntablism and Music Production in Ableton from some incredible artists.
Now I tour across the country DJing shows and opening up as direct support for some of America's hottest talent.
Releasing hits like "Breathe", "One Plus One", "Get Right", "Cold", and "Friends" have brought my catalog into the multi-million streams, which I am incredibly proud of.
Let's get started on your next hit record. Hit me up, I'm nice!

Interview with Snyder
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Reach out to me and let's talk about what you are looking for.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Apple Mac, Universal Audio Interface, Genelec Speakers, Acoustic Guitar, and Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been writing and producing music for the last 18 years.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Instead of adding more, focus on enhancing what you have. Simplicity is key.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill isn't a skill, it is my ear. It just works.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: A strong background in music foundations helps me to understand how arrangements, keys, melodies, and all of that good stuff works, and how it works together. My experience playing all of the instruments that I do has lead me to learn a lot about each and the different things that go into playing every part of an arrangement.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: No work process is typical for me, it generally starts with a basic idea. Whether that is a melody, an artists vocals, or a drum cadence, it can really start anywhere for me. From there I generally write a full tune, harmonies, build out the melody a bit more. After that I really like to begin working with the artist to continue to develop their vision. There isn't one way to do it, and I have probably never done it the same twice. A song is most successful when the artists feel connected throughout.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Some of the professionals that inspire me most would be Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Tchami, Kanye West, Lex Luger, Murda Beatz, Tay Keith, OVO40, Ben Billions, Andrew Watt, and many more.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Production and songwriting. My best ability is to listen to my clients vision and help them achieve what that with sound.
