Looking for fat, clean mixes? I can make you good song sound great! Aside from delivering a great sounding mix that vibes with the record I am 100% committed to delivering the mix as fast as possible and the best part is... no revision fees.... I will work with you until the song is right!
Although I only have 4 years of experience as a mix engineer I've had multiple songs playing in the hottest radio stations in New York such as Hot 97, Power 105.1, SiriusXm and more...
My specialty is in urban music. Whether its Hip-Hop, R&B, Latin Urban, etc...I can get the job done.
I'm great with adding FXs to complement the song, and getting the vibe right because at the end of the day what good does it do to have a "clean" record if it doesn't fit the vibe.

Man, Auden made my recordings sound like a commercial release. Communication was on point, delivered on time and made all revisions that i asked for as well as adding his own personal touch. I will definitely use his services for future works.

I highly recommend him, he knows how to do his thing🔥💫
I've recorded a couple times at Auden studio and I believe its the most unique in the Newark area. He is very patient with helping the artist find its comfortability while recording. Very professional and also have a lot of knowledge from his past experience. I decided to make him my go to whenever I need anything done right away. He hasn't let me down and I don't think he will. Plus he has the best price in town, you cannot beat it even if you tried.
Absolutely Amazing. Dude really knows what he’s doing. He’s very professional and affirming. He delivers at a very fast pace and his work is very high quality. He’s extremely talented. 100% going to make him my regular guy.

Interview with MixedByAuden
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been mixing for 5 years now, I originally started as a beat maker and naturally fell in love with mixing.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I own an Apollo x6, and use a pair of Adam GENELEC 8341 monitors to mix. I record my clients with a Neumann U87Ai, and also have a SHURE SM7B to record podcasts. As far as hardware I own a Neve 1073, Tube-Tech CL1B, & an SSL Fusion.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Besides your typical A-list artist (Jay-Z, Bad Bunny, Kendrick Lamar) any independent artist will do. I truly like to work with up-and-comers that are 100% committed to their craft.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Do not record too loud. -18 on average is what I hover around... peaking no louder than -12 db.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Experience, I always strive to make the records and experience and I do so with a lot of automation.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Not What It Used to Be by Elijahtheboy. I recorded, and mixed all the songs and was involved heavily with the producer (Navi Beats). Overall the project was fun, and it was my first time ranking high on iTunes.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I just finished an EP for Elijahtheboy called "Not What It Used to Be" it ranked #17 on iTunes. We are already working the next project and I'm mixing an EP for a local artist as well as an album for another local artist that will come out sometime in December 2020.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: If I'm recording a song I like to ask the client to sing or rap the song for me while the instrumental is playing just so I can feel the vibe of the song and see which direction is headed. From there I EQ, and Compress going into the box complementing the vibe of the song. Once the song is fully recorded I provide a rough mix for the client and if the client wants me to mix their songs, well then I mix it.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly mix records for clients.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Brian Temme!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Honestly, is doesn't even matter. I see plugins and analog gear as flavors you can add to a dish.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to always deliver the best mixes possible! Even if that means recommending another mix engineer! Anything to make the song sound great! I'm here to make great sounding music!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The ability to listen to a good sounding record come to life!
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: How long does it take you to deliver the mixes? 1-3 days.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That I can make anything sound great, I can only make a good song sound better. If the song isn't recorded properly, I can't make Ferrari out of Toyota components.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Who inspired you to write this song? Do you have any tracks you'd like me to use as a reference towards the sound your looking for?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Communicate, anything you want or need communicate clearly and please provide me with valuable feedback.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My computer, an interface, monitors, a microphone, and a cell phone.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Clean, and Punchy.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Mostly hiphop, sometimes pop and R&B.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Mixing, for sure.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Mixed by Ali, and Dr Dre. definitely inspire me. Their sound is always punchy and clean which is what I strive for.
