Interview with RetySeth

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Because I do editing and pretty much mixing at home I have a very simple setup. My workstation is -Mac mini 2.5 GHz processor 1TB, -DAWs are Pro Tools 2022 and UA Luna -Plugins are Celemony Melodyne 4 Studio, Autotune EFX, Fabfilter bundle, Waves Diamond plugin bundle -Studio speaker monitor is Genelec 8030A, 5" -Alesis V49 Keyboard Controller. -And a well treated room.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Always get the recording right, what that means is the performance has to be on point and the recording has to be done in the right environment.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Vocal Production.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring life to an artists project , I bring what the artist never even knew was missing.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I kind of like of like both depending on the genre of music I am working on.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Musically I would say, I have tons of artist that inspire me such as Chris Brown, Usher, Drake, Sia etc. And in music production I have Rodney Jerkins (Darkchild), Timberland, Leslie Braithwaite, Dj Swivel etc
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I do mostly editing, tuning and mixing.
