Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I’ve been in music for 20 years but I have been in music production for 16yrs. My goal is to have a sound that is recognized and distinguished as others who have been extremely successful such as John Williams and hans Zimmer .

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: A hybrid sound. You can pick out elements that represent multiple genres in one track that I produced.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: I would love to work with Fred Hammond because his music inspired me to learn piano when I was about 13 years old.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Record the idea as quickly as possible, and then come back later and replace the instruments to your liking. You will lose your inspiration and motivation if you’re spending most of your time searching for the “right sound“

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: Gospel and Pop music

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: Piano and strings arrangements. And unique drum patterns that is underbeded in the music

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I will bring dynamics to a song and a sense of meaning for each section of a song.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: I usually have an idea in my head. then I will record it with basic sounds and listen to it throughout the day to see if I like it or not. If I don’t like it, I will trash it. I like the idea I will then enhance the track by replacing instruments.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I use propellerheads Reason10 for Music production; I use Pro tools and logic pro 10 for recording, mixing, and mastering.

A: Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Timbaland, Calvin Rodgers, Fred Hammond

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: Create music for multiple genres such as gospel, R&B, hip-hop, and orchestral music.
