I remember being 16 years old and starting to get into hip hop acts like wu-tang clan, alchemist and gang starr. To name just as few. Since listening to those dusty, soulful beats I've been working hard at trying to replicate that style whilst developing my own sound to make each track unique.
I want to help you achieve the best beats for whatever application you need them for; be it for rappers, videos, advertisements or games. I have years of experience producing music for both myself and commercially. One of my most recent credits was creating music for WIRED magazine. I have a masters degree in sound design so you can be sure that all sounds used within my productions are going to original and sound amazing.
I've worked with rappers in the past and know about the level of communication required in order to achieve the beat that works for you. For any inquiries please get in touch and we can arrange a chat

Interview with MEAK music
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My set up consists of a few small synthesisers, a sampler, keyboard and a few old tape decks for bouncing out drums and giving them that real old school crunch.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm inspired by musicians and producers from all genres; a lot of the real old school hip hop guys like Pete Rock really inspire me with the jazzy samples and real prolific boom boom bap drums. I'm also inspired by a lot of ambient music producers; they're real masters in communicating a lot of emotion and feeling through quite simple and easily listenable music.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common work I do is create beats for rappers or MC's. It's a great feeling to hear someone really vibing with your production and create a really amazing song in the end.
