I'm a music producer.
As a music producer with over fifteen years of experience, I am dedicated to crafting masterful music recordings and mixing tracks that are both authentic and captivating. My musical background in violin, guitar, mandolin, and singing gives me a unique advantage in creating an overall soundscape. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in music production and a master's degree in entertainment business from Full Sail University. Let's work together to bring your music vision to life.

Interview with Kyle Frey
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a mac based studio with Neve 1073 preamps running through an Apogee Symphony Mk 2 SE for conversion. My primary vocal mic is a Neumann U67 reissue. I use SSL controllers combined with their software among many other plugins. I have the Komplete 15 Collectors Edition from Native Instruments and I have their latest 88 key controller. I also have many acoustic and electric guitars, a mandolin, a violin, and a Ukulele.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: My musical hero is John Williams. From a very early age he has been an inspiration to me and has a big influence on my work to this day. I am also inspired by mixing engineers Chris Lord Alge, and Bob Clearmountain. One of my favorite songwriters is Chris Thile.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most of the time when clients come to me they're bringing a song they just wrote. I then take that song and find the direction to go in which starts with recording all of the parts. Since I'm usually producing it as well, I will often be writing parts either for others to play, software instruments, or playing my self. I then mix the track for them.
