Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I'm part of the digital age and that's what I have access to, but whenever I get the chance to work with analog synthesizers I jump on that opportunity so quick. They just sound so rich! Would also love to get some analog compressors one day.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Know exactly what you want. It's so much easier to work with a client who has a vision for their project and knows exactly what they want in their sound.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Brendon Urie is someone I've always wanted to work with. He is the reason I first became interested in music and he's also a crazy talented singer and songwriter.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: The main genre that I produce for my own music project is Future Bass/Dance Pop type stuff, but I work on a variety of different EDM sub-genres for my clients. I also love working on Rock and Pop songs!
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Ian Kirkpatrick, Brendon Urie, DJ Swivel. All these guys are super talented in their fields and they are definitely big inspirations for me.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I'm going to have to say my personality, a lot of people have told me I'm easy to work and communicate with.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The creativity aspect. I could never do the same thing everyday and the best part about my job is that every project is unique in its own way.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My laptop, my external drive, my midi keyboard, my monitors and my interface.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't try to copy someone else, the most important thing to keep in mind is to be yourself and express YOUR creativity. Don't try to be another Flume or Chainsmoker.. The world already has those.. So what can YOU offer the world that it doesn't already have?
