Dani is a king !!!! I highly recommend to work with him !!! π

Dani helped me out on a track I'm producing - he worked on the lyrics, topline melody and recorded some demo vocals too.
He really understood the themes and vibe of the project we were working on, and came up with lyrics, rhythm and flow that really matched the track's character by the first draft, which he had ready within a week.
Throughout the process, Dani was friendly, easy to work with and listened to my feedback. The production quality delivered at each iteration was also impressive!

I absolutely enjoyed working with Dani! He was amazing at pulling together what I needed while also respecting my creative process and timeline. He is knowledgable, communicative and most importantly a truly nice guy to work with!
This the guy to help your vision come true. He post-produced one of my beats to excellence. Super patient and comprehensive, skilled and creative and he doesn't bankrupt you.
We went through a couple adjustments through the mix and he was super open to try new things until i was satisfied.Literally the best producer I have came across during my artist days, super dope melodies and overall creative vibes.
If the idea exists in your head, he will make sure it comes to light and create it whilst giving you creative control over your art, ensuring that the final product is to your liking.
I have had the pleasure of working with him on numerous records and plan on continuing to do so in the near future.
Highly Recomend It
Interview with DANI ESCO π₯
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am working on my solo project and as always a lot of different artists songs.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Patou, great mixing engineer who I have been working with for years - this guy is great with effects and translating your demo into a professional sounding mix: https://soundbetter.com/profiles/151409-christoffer-i-t-platou
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital because of speed and customization - analogue sometimes for that spice you can't get anywhere else.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will always put forth my best effort and if you do not like what you are hearing as a first time client - you do not pay.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love creating, discovering, learning and making people happy. That feeling when somebody really love the song you helped them make and they carry that song with pride - you can see the starts in their eyes when their vision comes to life. That feeling is priceless.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That I just make beats. I produce music from start to finish and use vocals as part of the production - oftentimes I go back and change the production once the vocals have been recorded as the vocal melody and beat melody might crash. In the end it should sound as a whole track with everything living and breathing together, not just some vocals slapped on top of a beat.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What is your vision for your track? Do you have some songs similar to this one that you really like the sound of, and what exactly do you like about that song?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Find someone you like the sound of and that you think will understand your vision as an artist, who can help you develop your sound and who puts their best effort into anything not settling for anything mediocre.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Laptop - waves plugins - Neumann U87 mic - Apollo Audio interface - Guitar
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been producing music for over 11 years - took a looooot of practice, fails and rejections to get to this place getting good enough to make money off music. I never came from a musical family or had any opportunities handed to me in the music industry, everything came from hard work and self-studying and if I can make it happen, I believe anyone can make it happen - just never stop believing in yourself.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: It's always tricky to describe 'your style' I do most genres and I would say my production has a lot of genres combined into one where you can hear the influence from different genres merging into one. Every genre has something really cool in them that I like to bring to my production and that's why I try to learn and study every genre - you never know what you might discover.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Less is more.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I work on a lot of different music, lots of Trap, Emorap, Trapsoul, Urban Pop, Electropop, Indie etc.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Creativity - creating without limits - out of the box thinking - cool and unique effects - hard & groovy drums - beautiful soundscapes
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Originality, bringing your vision to life, cool transitions, nice chord changes, dope effects, bringing out YOUR identity as an artist. No track is made the same - I strive to make all tracks unique and carry your sound as an artist.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: 1. Listen carefully to your ideas and visions for your track 2. Create a first draft which we then talk about 3. If you love the first draft I continue developing it with the changes you would like, if not I go back to step one 4. Finish up the song and polish details. we finish the project when you feel that you LOVE it.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I produce and record most of my music at a professional recording studio based just outside Lisbon called 'Great Dane Studios' with all the equipment that comes with a professional setup - various focal & adam studio monitors, rooms with good acoustics + Neumann U87 microphones. I also have a simple home studio where I do production and nail ideas down I get in the middle of the night with a pair of Mackie studio monitors and an AKG C214 microphone + a UAD Apollo Solo audio interface.
