Recording and Remote Mixing

Steffen Yazvac on SoundBetter

Experienced recording/mix engineer with an ear for nuance

I started out writing music and playing in bands in Junior High. Being rather dissatisfied with the recordings my bands could afford, I set out to record it myself. I stumbled through the recording process for years, then finally got my act together and went to school at Hennepin Technical College, graduating with an A.A.S. in Audio Production. After experimenting rock, acoustic pop, folk, hardcore, americana and electro-pop, I settled around folky acoustic music and indie rock being my comfort zone. I love the challenge and excitement a new project brings and would love to help you make your music sound great.

As a musician, song-writer, and engineer, I know that every project needs a tailored approach. My goal is to figure out how to make your music sound as good as it can. With my expertise and your hard work and creativity, I am confident in the result that can be achieved. . Here are the services I offer with pricing:

1-5 songs: $75/song
6-10 songs: $70/song
11 or more songs: $65/song
This includes the following:
2 revisions per song
High-quality .wav or .aif files

$20/hr + studio fee(between $75 and $500 per day)
I have a setup to track vocals and some individual instruments, but full band tracking and drum sessions would need to rent a studio.
