A lot of mastering is approached as a one-size-fits-all operation where the goal is just to adjust the levels of a recording, but Christian actually took the time to understand what I wanted to achieve with my recording, and he mastered it accordingly. This is the first time I've worked with Christian on a four-hand piano project, and truth be told, the stage I enjoyed the most was post-production, due to his patience and connection with the project and us (Angélica and me). You can have the most expensive gear in the world, but you must to hear in a room that you well know, clear and treated for optimized hearing. Then, the monitors, far field and near field, calibrated for loudness, stereo image and difussion for cristal clear analysis.
