It's owned and operated by grammy nominated engineer and producer, Carlos King! On this platform we are looking to service independent clients with small budgets that need an extra sonic push to help you stand out in the very competitive market of music.
As engineers we believe it's our duty to create the right sound for each song. We never use a “one size fits all” approach. Each song is a custom fit! Our approach is to make sure the main parts of the song are creatively driven throughout the whole song, without compromising the little nuances that make a song unique. Which means in a nut shell, we actually listen!
We love working with people who have that same goal in mind, to make the song as great as possible! There is nothing better than collaborating with people who love to create magic!

Interview with LOS SOUNDS
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love taking part in the creative process!
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Alina Baraz, I love the feel of her music!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Anything contemporary! (R&B, Hip Hop, Gospel, Pop, Reaggaeton, EDM, etc)
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Interpreting what the music is telling me.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I start with a conversation, so that I can determine what you're looking for. From there I kind of get an idea on how I will approach the mix or master. I start with simple edits, eqs, compression and etc to all of the main parts of the song. Once I have a good balance of that, I will move on to the rest of the song until it's done.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Any song or album that has a dope vibe with a great sonic quality! I love when I hear something that just sounds like it's "it"!
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What is the time line for the project/song? What exactly are you looking to get out of the project? Do you have any specific examples that you would like me to reference?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Pick someone who cares to understand your vision.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: When you need something to poke out in the mix a bit try using distortion. My go to plugin for that is decapitator!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to always put our best foot forward.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both, why not use the best of both!
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: A highly professional modern sound with over 10 years of professional experience to back it up. I completely understand the contemporary market and my sonic signature translates to any market.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mixing and mastering.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Open, clean, modern and vibey.
