I am a performing artist/songwriter who goes by the name HURU. Music and Lyrics have been second nature to me for as long as I can remember. My passion for music allowed me to graduate with a BA Hons in Songwriting here in London. I am continuously working on my own projects and have released 3 singles in the last 2 years, available on all music platforms.My work has been been recognised by 'The 405', 'Music and Other Stories', a couple of international publications and was featured on a number of playlists.

As well as my own projects I have worked consistently with other musicians, artists and producers.I have recently started travelling between London and Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia working and performing with creatives in both cities.In addition I have worked as a top-line writer for the EA Wave Collective based in Eastern Africa and specialise largely in melody and Lyric writing, however, I am also familiar with Logic Pro x.

I have had the pleasure of cowriting with a number of songwriters over the course of 4 years. Writing on international Artist Will Caminada's single 'Camouflage' as well as featuring on UK rapper 'Lavz' Ep 'Not this time'. In addition I have recorded top line vocals for Rosko Lewis, an artist on this platform. As well as my own material I have a lot of content to offer to singers,artists and producers looking to develop their repertoire further.
