How would you like for your next mix to sound its very best? How can I help?
Hi! I am a songwriter and mix engineer with a strong desire to help make amazing records. In the past, I performed songs in front of hundreds, held my own music concert, performed in front of 11,000 plus people, winning talent shows, and being an opening act for several prominent recording artists. I offer quality mixing services with a strong desire to help others achieve their musical goals. Should I be chosen to help you achieve your goals, here are a few things we should consider:
1) Discuss your needs before we begin the project. For example, send me an example of your music, tell me more about your vision for the project(s), share a demo or reference track of your choice, let me know the track count and length of each song. I want you to love the way your mix sounds.
2) Upload your stems,1-24 tracks or more. I will follow-up with you after all stems are received and downloaded on my end. I will move to mix your song(s). Afterwards, I will create a draft, i.e. high quality (*.*mp3) to send back to you. Based on your feedback, I will begin finalization. You may have up to 3 revisions. Once satisfied with my work, I will ask you to mark the work as "complete" using the "Complete" button. At that time, I will provide you with the final high-resolution 24-bit (*.*wav) file of your mix.
Click the ‘Contact’ button above. Thanks for your visit and have nice day.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I built my own music website and it took approximately 2-3 months to get it up and fully running. At the time I was soley a beat-maker, making and selling beats. I made a small transition by adding mixing and mastering to my repertoire because I needed to make the music sound its best or no one would buy anything from the website. In my case, I was the owner, site administrator, beat-maker, music producer, mixer, songwriter and all the rest...A lot of time, patience, and work was doled out. The site is still up and running like a champ.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Yes, there are two people on SoundBetter I know of and would recommend my clients to and those two individuals are: Paul J. Falcone and Matt Foster.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: At the moment, I am working on new music for my official website, specifically for the new year (2024). Please stay tuned... more to follow on this...
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I like analog because it has a fuller sound, silky highs...In short, analog equipment creates a more nuanced and detailed sound, one that closely evokes a sense of a classic recording. Digital is okay at times...however, my personal preference has always been analog. For now, I will have to park it right here for this question.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: My promise to my clients is to give them a great customer experience and to treat their music with the utmost respect...and to help them 'nail' the sound they are looking for in their record.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The thing I like most about my job is listening to new music, ideas, collaborating and making the mix come to life...measuring it against all the commercialized material out there.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Customers most commonly ask me how long will it take to mix or master their song. My answer is always truthful and that is anywhere to 48-72 hours, 2 to 3 business days.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: In times past there have been misconceptions about mixing and mastering songs... For example, it is a very easy, a boring thing and anyone can do it and do it well. Truly, I enjoy what I do and it is definitely not boring to me.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I ask prospective clients about their track count and length of each song. I ask them about his or her references for how they envision the songs tonality...what they want it to potentially sound like.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: My advice for a customer looking to hire a provider like me is to ensure that you have all of your tracks centralized and accounted for and at a working volume level. In other words, making sure the tracks are not to hot before sending them to me to mix or master. In addition, being emotionally available to discuss your vision for your project.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: If I were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear; I would take both Apollos, my Dangerous Convert-2, Dangerous AD plus, and my Rupert Neve Shelford Channel.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I use to be an artist several years back and also a beat-maker. I quickly learned that needed to learn the rest of the puzzle and that was the mixing and mastering records. I have been doing this for pretty good while now.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is difficult for me to explain. I would definitely leave this question to be answered by my client's.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would like to have work with Tyla because I like her vocals and I have music productions that I think she and her team may like very much. Her vocal tones are those that I would like to work with. I have witnessed a few of her interviews and think that she a sort open-mindedness (lyrically) when it comes to making music.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: I would like to share this one music production tip and that is immerse yourself in the music, letting it all hangout so the music is just as alive as you are. Build your production with hard-hitting drums and open and clear instrumentation.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on Pop, RnB, Blues, Gospel, and Dancehall.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: In my humble opinion, my strongest skill is subjective...Truthfully, I do not like to toot my own horn. The quality I bring is strictly in the eyes of my client's.

The year 2023 has truly been a blessing. I am looking forward to creating and mixing new music for year 2024. Recently, I added some new music gear to my collection and I am excited to say that I welcome with open-arms my new Focal MG Professional and Sennheiser HD650 headphones. Having several pairs of cans available helps me a lot.
