Studio work in 3 hour increments yields the most creative and interesting results in my experience. From film score's like Michael Abel's "Get Out" and David Schwartz' Lindy hop jazz in Arrested Development, I have learned to work quickly and efficiently when creating music. I 2nd engineered songwriting sessions with Lady Gaga for "Joanne"
Hey I'm Justin DiCenzo, music producer, audio engineer, and local bass instructor in St. Louis, MO. My music has been heard in tv shows like Empire, Arrested Development, Star, as well as video games produced by Dadako in Tokyo Japan. I also dabble in sound design and produced the SFX for the game Questy Chess on the Playdate Console that came out in 2023. My studio is in my home in St. Charles, I will sometimes allow people to record here. Otherwise, I have access to Clayton Studios where I often set aside time to do critical work.
My whole vibe is, have fun, make music, get creative with sounds, break the structure, and play instruments. I play most instruments in the studio and enjoy a good chord structure. I have a background in Jazz and specialize in the upright bass. If you want a hip hop track that sounds like Tribe Called Quest, I got you.
I also do post production audio work for video and am regularly working in Final Cut Pro.
