A great pro, who you can give a brief instruction/idea you have for the bass part, and let him use his experience and skills to turn it into something real, and of high quality.

Mike is excellent to work with, understands the ideas you have for the project, and happy to tweak parts to get it exactly how you want them to sound. A great bow and pizzicato bassist to bring into your project.

Mike was amazing. He is not only a skilled player - stand up as well as classically bowed bass - but also creative and forward thinking in his arranging and composition style. Mike gave a new depth and dimension to my song. He was professional, listened and was pleasant. Highly recommended.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly record bass parts for existing songs and do string arrangements for clients. These are all recorded professionally in my home studio.

A: Universal Audio interfaces. Peluso P49 tube mic, Remic mics, Michael Joly mics, and fat head mics. Hazelrigg Industries VLC-1 Multiple bass amps Juzek contrabass Fender P and Jazz basses
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Typically the client will send me an audio file of the song and let me know the tempo. They will also include chord charts if needed and give me instruction as to what they would like on the track. I am more than happy to make up bass parts for your songs as well. I will then typically record the bass using two mics and send you the file of each mic so that you can blend them into your recording as you wish. I will then do any edits or re-recordings that you need until you are happy!
