Hello, I am an independent singer/songwriter. I enjoy the process of writing and creating. I am open to writing on projects, assisting with writing on projects for any reason there is assistance needed. I am also open to having my vocals on tracks for filling (harmonies), leads, or backgrounds. I love music !of course
I am an independent artist who is willing to work with other artists, or music vendors within the industry. I am here to help in an honest way and collaborate creatively with those who are willing. I hold faith and take pride within my work. I am very flexible and diligent when it comes to working/collaborating with others because I understand the necessity and importance of good quality in ones' work. Everyone has a dream and the hardest part is making it come true; but together anything is possible.

Interview with Zion Anthony
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started writing poetry, and then started performing my poetry. After finding my pocket with my poetry I moved into learning and teaching myself song structure and turning my poetry into songs while also learning how to create my own melodies and using my voice as a tool to heighten the story telling process. After becoming comfortable enough I became performing my music live in open mic events and became a part of an organization that focused on conditioning ones artistry that helped weekly with understanding my craft and using it as an outlet. I then became a facilitator within this organization and learned what it takes to channel a feeling and turning it into a product and to be able to teach this to other artists. Once I created a stage presence and understanding how to appeal to a crowd I moved into recording my pieces in a studio setting. By having enough content of my own work I was able to come across management to help create a career for myself. I worked with them shortly with their help of booking shows for me and creating more resources within the industry and I started working with other artists writing and recording. Now I do independent work creating my own content while still collaborating with other artists. I can say I've been doing music for at least 6 years or more.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with all and any artists who are possible and willing to do so. I say this because I enjoy creating and I love when a vision or an idea can come to life because the result is a nostalgic feeling that cannot be described nor replaced. I love when vibes can be so strong that nothing matters besides coming together and telling a story that can only be spoken through passion. With the story being told by such passionate artists the passion shuns through the work and creates such a passion that the audience can relate to. So with that being said I am happy to work with anyone who is willing to vibe out.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Q: How fast can it be done? A: within or before the deadline. ( it's a process; depends on type of project of course )
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That satisfaction is key, all parties must be satisfied because quality is important. ( I want to create your vision into reality, make it as real as it feels inside of you )
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Always do what you feel, never force anything that doesn't feel natural. You must be true to self and true to what speaks to your soul.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Networking and creating more resources possible to help flourish in my career. ( something that is always in full momentum in an artists' life ) Working on my craft to better perfect it. ( There's always something to learn and master ) My EP.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: That it's what I love to do and I have full control of all aspects of it. It is what I make of it, and I get out of it what I put into it.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That it's simple and not actually a real job.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What is it exactly that you want ME to do to help? What is your main vision and goal of a project? ( major, non major ) What is it that you're trying to get across to an audience? ( mentally, physically: what are you trying to get them to think and feel ) What are your limits within a project? ( if any ) How much control are you willing to give ? Can our communication be as clear and respectable as possible?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Never force anything if the vibes aren't there, it probably isn't a good match. You should always go with what feels right. ( instinct is important to pay attention to )
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: R&B, Soul, and Hip-Hop.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: writing hooks. ( choruses ) Creating Melody.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Connection. Meaning. Emotion. Soul. Life.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Understanding structure, understanding what feels right, understanding what makes most sense, creating melody, writing, recording rough draft, add and take away what needs to be, record final product.
