Q: What's your typical work process?

A: I only work when I feel inspired. If I don't feel inspired I get out of the house and do something fun. Maybe go to the beach, shopping, hang out with my dog or hubby or friends, watch TV, read a new book, check out a new restaurant or movie. Then I come back home and get back to work and ideas usually just pour out of me.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I have a basic studio setup of all I need to record great vocals and put ideas down. Nothing super fancy. My Neumann mic, laptop and speakers. All the other bells and whistles are going away little by little and I wouldn't know how to use all those buttons anyway ;)

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: I love meeting interesting people from around the world. I also love that working is like going to therapy, gives me an outlet to get all my feelings out.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: I'm really good at hearing artists and helping bring their visions to life.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: A song I wrote called "Tribe" was the original track for the Pitch Perfect 3 movie and soundtrack. The song played in the trailer that aired like every other commercial on TV that even my friends were so sick of it and I was in the corner like "muahahahahaha it's stuck in your head right?" ;P

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: Working with up and coming artists all around the world.

Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

A: Cameron Forbes voice is like butta, Kevin Anyaeji is a sick producer and collaborator of mine.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: I'm incredibly inspired by Bruno Mars. He seriously isn't human. He fuses pop, soul, funk, R&B together to create something so catchy and relatable to all ages, demographics, etc. Adele, Alicia Keys, Lauryn Hill, have all done the same thing. They're timeless.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: I promise I will give you my best and not hold anything back.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: What is your release plan? Timeline? Would you like me to feature on the track? What are some other songs you like? Have any title or concept ideas?

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Close your eyes and listen to their music. What do you feel? What colors do you see? When you know they're the one, you know.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: Career path has always been singing and writing songs. Been doing this professionally for 7 years. I worked at a record label, Warner Bros, before that.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Assuming you mean fashion ;P I love colorful classics. Anything with embroidery all day.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: Bruno. Duh.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: Pop, soul, R&B, dance.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I bring my life experiences, the ups and downs, the good, bad and ugly. I've lived all over and traveled a ton and have met so many different people. I bring what I've seen, my voice.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: I love hearing a track for the first time and coming up with lyrics and melodies over it to create something new and never heard before. Having title, concept, reference ideas from my collaborators only helps me bring their vision to life with my personal spin on it.
