Ruslan absolutely crushed the song. He was fast, communicative and a top notch player who took my idea and made it a million times better. Excited to work more with him in the future.

An incredible player, and extremely accommodative as well. Ruslan will go many steps beyond your requests in order to see your project to it's fullest potential. If you do a bit on research on him and his playing, then hiring him is close to a no-brainer!

Ruslan did an absolutely fantastic job on my song and he played it with so much soul that I was instantly convinced I made the right decision in hiring him. I wanted the song to be played rubato but I was unsure and didn't want to waste his time. Luckily, Ruslan knew the song would sound better without a click and offered his advice—I'm happy he did!
If you are unsure of whether or not to hire him, listen to his album A Lifetime Away—it's amazing. Also, the man has a grammy for a reason.

I'm sorry to say , I just didn't like what Rusian did......I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!! Another brilliant job! Many virtuso pianists I have worked with tend to overplay, but not Rusian. Rusian knows when to hold um and when to fold um.I highly recommend Rusian's services to anyone needing great piano tracks.

Interview with Ruslan Sirota
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: You will be 100% ecstatic about my work, or I will re-do it over and over.... until you are.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What is the big picture for this musical piece? What is the general vibe?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: If you have a specific vision for the song - say so, be specific. A real professional should be able to create a new vision for the song, if needed... AND execute your vision of the song, if needed.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I listen to the song several times through and write a chart of the song for myself. By the time that's done I usually have a pretty solid idea of what I think the song needs, unless I have specific instructions from the client about what they want me to do on the song - in those cases I follow instructions.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: The biggest misconception is that you can't play more than one genre competently. I've toured with Stanley Clarke and Marcus Miller and played on the upcoming Black Eye Peas album in the same year. I genuinely love different genres of music and make a living playing them.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I graduated Berklee College of Music and began working professionally in Boston. Then moved to LA two years later, and started touring and recording with a wider array of artists (listed in my bio). I've been playing music since age 4. Im 37.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Enhancing the song without ruining it.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I try to find that exact balance of bringing myself to the song and make it feel fresh, yet not interrupt the message, the flow, and the general feeling of the piece. This is the magical balance. This is what I attempt to bring.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Recording piano / keyboards parts on songs. String/Horn arranging, if the song calls for it.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I’ve been fortunate to work with a wide range of folks. From the pop sound of NE-YO, to the classical sound of Josh Groban, to the soulful sound of Brian McKnight. Living in Los Angeles, one really has to be competent in different genres in order to remain a working pianist/keyboardist.
