Andrew Halvorson is a freelance recording and mixing engineer from Minneapolis who does most of his work out of The Hideaway in Minneapolis. He has worked with a wide range of artists around the cities and enjoys working on all types of music.
Andrew started as an intern at The Hideaway (http://thehideawaympls.com/) in 2012 while in school and has been assisting and doing his work there ever since. While he does occasionally work elsewhere, The Hideaway acts has his main home with the beautiful rooms and the racks of tone toys. While assisting there, he has been able to learn from many of the top engineers in the Twin Cities area and has been able to assist on some great records.
His clientele has ranged from singer-songwriters to progressive rock to doom metal, and he has enjoyed every one. Andrew strives to bring out the best of every song, no matter the genre, and loves the process of making that happen. His website shows his full credits and has listening material.
He also likes fuzz pedals and tape machines. And delay.
