Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: A project I’m particularly proud of involved creating the piano arrangement for a song that needed more depth and emotion. My role was to design the harmonic structure and record the piano parts, helping the music develop into a fuller and more expressive piece

A: I enjoy the process of discovering what a song truly needs and shaping it through piano, arrangement, and musical expression.

A: Clients often ask how quickly I can deliver and whether I can adapt to their musical style. I always aim to work efficiently within the agreed deadline and focus on understanding the song so the piano or keyboard parts naturally fit the music.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: Many people think it’s just about playing the right notes, but the real work is understanding the song’s emotion and finding the parts that truly serve the music.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: I ask about the artistic vision of the song, the mood they want to achieve, reference tracks they like, and how they imagine the piano or keyboards supporting the arrangement.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Hire someone who listens to the song as much as they play on it.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I started with classical piano training, which shaped my technique and musical understanding. As I grew as a musician, I developed strong playing-by-ear skills and began exploring improvisation, arranging, and working across multiple genres including pop, rock, funk, film music and orchestral writing.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Classically trained with a strong technical foundation, my style combines musical sensitivity with the freedom of playing by ear. This allows me to learn songs quickly, improvise naturally, and bring creative interpretations that blend different musical styles.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: I’d love to collaborate with artists who value musicality and emotion in their music—artists who see piano and arrangement as an important part of storytelling within a song.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Always serve the song first. The best parts are often the simplest ones that leave space for the music to breathe.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: Improvisation and playing by ear are at the core of my musicianship. They allow me to quickly connect with a song and shape arrangements and keyboard parts that feel natural, expressive, and musically authentic.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: Before starting any project, I focus on clear planning and communication. I ask the right questions to understand the artist’s vision and ensure we are fully aligned. Once that is established, I work efficiently within the deadline and often share early ideas or examples to help shape the direction of the song.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I record from my dedicated home studio, equipped with the tools necessary to produce professional-quality recordings. My setup features an 88-key MIDI controller connected to Logic Pro, along with an extensive collection of high-quality virtual instruments that allow me to craft detailed and expressive piano and keyboard parts for a wide range of musical styles.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: I’m currently working on a variety of projects including piano recordings, keyboard arrangements, and exploring different musical styles ranging from pop and funk to cinematic and orchestral music.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Digital for now because of its flexibility, though I would love to explore analog gear in the future for its unique character and sound.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: A piano, a laptop with Logic Pro, headphones, a MIDI controller, and a microphone—enough to capture any musical idea that the island inspires.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: There are many musicians who inspire me, but I’m especially drawn to artists who combine strong musicality with emotion and groove. Pianists and keyboardists like Stevie Wonder have been a major influence on me through their creativity, feel, and musical expression.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: I typically provide expressive piano and keyboard performances for songs and productions. This includes acoustic piano, electric piano, and other keyboard textures, as well as musical arrangements that enhance the emotion and feel of the track.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: I usually work across pop, rock, and funk for many of my clients, while also contributing to film soundtracks and classical-style orchestral arrangements. This range allows me to adapt easily to different musical styles and creative directions.

A: I take time to understand the song’s mood and intention, then add the right musical colours through expressive playing, tasteful arrangement, and attention to emotion and detail.
