Music is fun and can take you to another world. I believe in doing whatever is necessary to translate each song, whether remaining invisible, or getting my hands dirty. Having previously worked with Studios 301 in Australia and currently Miloco in the UK, I have a great track record of delivering for both established and independent artists.
With an appreciation for chaotic and noisy recordings as much as classic depth I like to experiment with each artist in finding their sonic palette to help translate their own unique performances.
Spending the eight years as the Senior Engineer at Sydney’s Studios 301 until mid-2016, I worked with artists including Matt Corby, Kanye West, Elton John, Au.Ra, White Shadows, Nantes and The Griswolds, earning a series of Gold and Platinum album credits and awards, including Matt Corby’s ARIA song of the year ‘Brother’ and Kanye Wests ‘Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’.
More recently I worked with Elton John and long time producer David Nicholas on his cover of the Eagles of Death Metal’s ‘I Love You All The Time’, Birds of Tokyo’s 2016 LP ‘Brace’ alongside Producer David Bottrill (Tool, Muse, NIN) and experimental post rock outfit Meniscus on their acclaimed ‘Refractions’ LP.
I currently work with the legendary team at Miloco Studios, based in London.
Recent credits include; Paloma Faith, George Ezra, Honne, Anne Marie, Skepta, Clean Bandit, Coasts, Bastille, Sundara Karma, Ghetts and Emeli Sande.

Simon mixed my record, Bop. He totally understood the record's sound and delivered creative, thoughtful and accomplished mixes that really lent depth and clarity. His mixes retained the hectic, punchy quality of the demos (mixing a bunch of instruments and electronics), and made everything really clear and balanced. I'd 100% recommend working with Simon.
I've worked with Simon for the last 7 years, recording numerous EP's, Singles and Albums. Each time he brings something new to the table, again and again I am blown away by his ability, creativity and expertise.
I couldn’t recommend Simon any higher.
