Whether you're a signed artist looking for some fresh ideas or are still figuring out who you are and what your sound is I can help you tell your story! Since attending and graduating from Berklee College of Music with a degree in songwriting I've lent my skills to multiple artists around the world. (NY, LA, Nashville, Malaysia, Toronto...)

Endorse MimikaMimika and I have had a number of co-writing sessions and I am always both impressed and blown away by her ability to play with words. Mimika allows me to really visualize the concept that we are writing about and lets my feelings lead the session itself. She has the ability to take things that I am feeling and cannot put into words and creates a melodic line that instantly encompasses everything I was trying to say. Aside from writing, she also always has such wonderful tips for vocal production, adlibs and things to add more personality to the song. Forever a writing partner and friend!
I’ve been working with Mimika for a couple years now. Always has the best ideas and melodies. We have written for my debut EP E-Boy released in 2020 and have now been working on my second EP. Definitely a songwriter you would want to work with.
Interview with Mimika
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I really pride myself in my ability to develop ideas quickly and to adapt and move with the artist. I provide options and prompts to get the artist thinking and then adjust my own choices based on where the artist goes naturally.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I've spent a few years now building up my studio and have an isolated vocal booth for tracking final vocals and I typically rotate mics depending on what I'm tracking. Right now I've got a Mojave 1000 in there. For everyday stuff, I use my SM7B and cloud lifter and track scratch vocals off the floor. I have one keyboard and one electronic piano as well as 2 acoustic guitars.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I massively respect and look up to Jon Bellion, I think he's an incredible writer, producer, and overall talent. I also love artists like Ashe who are paving their own lane in terms of sonics and niche.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Typically artists come into sessions with a concept, a few words, or even a section of a song they want to write and I work with them to fully flush out the song. We write the lyrics and melody for the full song and I provide them with at least a recording of the full song with piano or guitar accompaniment.
