My name is Carlos Cornejo, EDM producer, Mixeer and Engineer, from 5 years ago to date.
I started to produced electronic music since 15 as a hobby just to have fun but a some point i felt more and more curiousity about the music and production itself then i decided to formalice all that i knowed to go more further.
3 years ago i started studying Audio Engineering in Audioplace Academy on my country and now want to put in practice all the knolegde that i learned there about music production and being the best professional in the industry.
I specialize in Progressive House, Big Room and Electro House but i able to do other genres like Trap, Future Bass, Tropical House and Deep House.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm doing some personal songs and i'm finishing my home studio also looking to buy new gears.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I'd like to recomend dBMix Studios they do a excelent work on Mastering.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I'll produce you a song that is capeable to stand on the actual industry
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The liberty of time to search new types of music and try to applied it on my productions
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: You don't need a NASA systems to get higher result, all is based on good selection of instruments, a good arrangement, off course good taste and love from what do you do. Those are simply tools to help you to achieve that but always depends everything on how they are using it.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What style would you like to do? and What artists do you like about the genre? If you have reference of what you want i can make you a better song according to your taste
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I studied Audio Engineer for three years (this is my last semester), i've been done music for almost 5 years but i started to do small works this year selling my music.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: If its with emotions i would say euphoric and emotional but i think this is always subjective and always like to do more new styles to achieve different feelings, i dont stick too much on one speciffic type.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Distorcion is a good friend when comes to EDM it gives more character to the sound even if you use on a bus to blend more the sound, always with care, too much can be harsh and unpleasant.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Recently i started to do a lot Future Bass but i like to create more Progressive or Electro House
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Impact and harmony, its good to have two face of the same coin without being extreme.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I usually listen music for a while on the start to refresh my ears and look to new tracks, i work on my previous songs and see what can i improve, finally in the night i try to create new ideas for new songs. I don't know why but i work better at night and get some creative ideas on that time.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a pretty small setup, i have a Toshiba Satellite Laptop with Intel Celeron (Too old isn't?), a Teinuro Speaker 2.1 (Kinda Basic), and thats it my hardware setup but i able to do great thing with this.
