Hey Collaborator! It’s great to meet you. I’m Kryštof. Hey, totally random but did I hear right that you recently need help with a song? I’m crazy about doing that. I’d love to hear what’s going on!
I create, build, and structure a Pop, Rock, or EDM songs with a little touch of contemporary classical music. The songs need to make me feel. I guess you have the same!
Experience
16 years of music creation. Hundreds of songs, tracks, and thousands of hours. I performed in a jazz band, a few rocks and metal bands, and even a rock opera. I also composed horror music for McKamey Manor horror house in San Diego. Crazy.
Currently I am working on my own musical show that’s about time; the time we need to not turn our wonders and gifts into dust. Structurally it’s a drama, but instead of dialogs and Fabula, there is only music and stage art.
What's next?
Let me know if we can hold each other’s hands and jump together! :)
I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.
Interview with Krystof Bernat
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Currently, I am working on my own music show that’s about time; the time we need to not turn our wonders and gifts into dust. Structurally it’s a drama, but instead of dialogs and Fabula, there is only music and stage art.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The truth. I love to tell real stories I can relate to. I am calling it creating a “magic box.” That box includes everything you need to know to feel or understand (or both) the subject we’re working on. I know I was born to create these “magic boxes,” and I love to deliver as much of them as possible.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop would somehow answer that question for me. But my musical muscle begins to work when listening to a song that grows somewhere (like an exciting story).
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: To connect with the melody, I think. I can really quickly begin to cry in that process. It’s like a witnessing miracle.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Dru Castro. I would love to work with him again.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: As if Alicia Keys were in the same room with Michael Jackson and Linkin Park. And they would have a perfect time with each other.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To deliver something carrying emotions.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I am wondering what do you want to say and what do you want to feel. And then I wanna know why.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: I would say, "please, be as open and honest as possible."
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: One day I’m gonna work with Alicia Keys. I believe In everything she is doing. I might say I am connected to the heart and clearly seeing the love she is trying to spread all over the world. I wrote a few songs for her to sing and one time I will ring on her door.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I might definitely say power.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That the music doesn’t need to be connected to me.
