My name is Ross Mcallister. I am a sound engineer with a passion for music. When playing music, I often strive to attain the best sound for my personal musical exploits, and it was at that point I realized my interest in sound engineering; of mixing music and polishing it to achieve the finest production of its delivery to the listener.
As a music enthusiast myself, I quickly sharpened and honed a good ear on what makes music live and breath during post-production to give it that studio quality presentation.
Chords, strings, vocals, bass and anything that composes a song - no matter the genre - I aim to individually wax each element using the software(s) that I employ consistently: Pro tools 10, a brilliant piece of kit from Avid that allows me to seamlessly blend vocals, instrumentals and everything else together for a magnificently professional-standard finish.
Among other software, Steinberg's WaveLab 6 is a software I employ to go beyond the finishing touches to weave atmospheric sounds which are part and parcel in delivering the overall mood of the music. With my know-how, my access to studio-standard software and my love for the craft, I aim in delivering satisfactory results which both the musician and the music enthusiast can appreciate
