Welcome, Im maloki. Throughout this musical life i have worked alone and also had the pleasure of working with other gifted musicians. Whether it's in a supportive role live or recording in a studio environment, a nomad life has lead to a diverse yet quiet dysfunctional musical skill set. A robin hood esque mercenary of beats.
Born in Germany, raised in England, Northern Ireland and America, crazy dyslexic. Started guitar when i was 10. At 16 joined death metal band “The Deepest Abyss” & a function band that played rock & pop covers in pubs & functions. A year later leave TDA & join death metal band “Chaos Blood”, record an album and tour supporting some great bands. At 20 got guitar lessons from Pete Friesen (Alice Cooper, Bruce Dickinson) and Jamie Humphries (Brian May, Kerry Ellis, The Australian PInk Floyd Show), moved to Brighton, England. Continued function work as it was paying well & became a club promoter, then a DJ, then a producer. Had dance releases, spun with world renowned Djs, spent time in established artists studios & got support on the BBC. Moved to Amsterdam, spun “Amsterdam Dance Event”. Put djing aside for more studio based projects. Produced music for Tony Hawk, Independent Trucks & Creature. can put together royalty free music fast so start of 2017 begun pitching to companies like Maybelline & Vauxhall. Mix Engineer local artists within hip hop and reggae. A piece of audio can be so important, whether it’s going out to millions or just one, the same level of love and detail should go into it. I do as many revisions as needed until everyone is happy, in my eyes Music is a collaborative process. Typically when i get the files that's all i do until it's finished. I do not sleep a lot.
