I create catchy vocal melodies and lyrics to engage listeners. Like the song Save Me by Galactic Mrvl that was featured on the World Cup.
Growing up in the Coachella Valley, most of the days of summer were spent inside, listening and playing music, due to the extreme heat. That time inside over the summer allowed me to expand my mind and listen to what works and what doesn't in the music industry. The diversity this time allowed me is why I enjoy writing anything from Country, to EDM, to Pop, to Rap.

Interview with Josh Del
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I live in the land of melody. I believe a strong melody can make everything so much better and even go beyond the lyrical content itself; but when you have a strong melody and lyrics, you got yourself a hit. That's what I do.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I am an improver, so I usually look for parts that I think could be stronger, in order to take that song to the next level and catch more attention.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to talk to the artist first, kind of get inside their head in a way, so I can help bring their song(s) to life. I listen to the track a few times through to really try to hear the message they're trying to convey.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I run an UAD Apollo Twin Quad with an SM7B or a Telefunk condenser. Guitars are Gretsch Silver Falcon, MIJ Strat, Martin HD28 and Martin OMPCA4.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I love the work of everyone from Rick Rubin to Dr. Dre to Dave Cobb. There are so many great producers out there! I really appreciate what producers do because they think about the whole picture when producing a song. Some of my favorite musicians are The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Kendrick Lamar, Frank Ocean and so many more.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I am a creator, from making melodies to toplining on a song to tracking guitar. I love it all. My favorite thing is to try and get into the artist and listeners head and try to create that musical connection between them.
