Hi, My name is Travis Fielding and I am a session drummer, producer, and mix engineer. I've been playing drums for over 15 year and producing/mixing for over 4 years in a wide range of genres. I have excellent mics, mic pre amps, and record in my home studio! I'd love the opportunity to work with you and create some magic!
For a drum track all I need from you is an mp3 of your song (preferably played to a click) with any instructions you have. If it isn't I can still hold a steady and tasty groove. I will send you a stereo mix wav file of my drums for your song, or I can send you each individual track.
My main genres are rock, singer-songwriter, and pop but can work . I can mix and master any project I work on, using top of the line plugins and equipment.
I strive for originality and great communication so I can provide the best quality product and leave you satisfied. I love a challenge and can help you explore all the ideas you have. I work in a wide range of genres from Jazz to Hard Rock and can't wait to work with you!

Interview with Travis Fielding
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am working on an ep of my own original music as well as writing sessions with other artists in the Los Angeles area
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: They both offer something different, adding characteristics that the other doesn't so for me it isn't black or white. You need to choose based on the song your working on.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to listen to you and understand what you want. This way you get something you're happy with and not just what I think is good.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love getting to play music and be creative. There's nothing better than creating and producing something that moves people emotionally.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Tell me what you want. The better you know what you want the better I can help create something amazing for or with with!
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My Dad's vintage Gibson Acoustic guitar without a doubt is number 1! If my Tama starclassic drumset counts as one piece then obviously that! A pair of Focal shape 65 monitors. Those bad boys sound amazing! The AKG c414 is a workhorse and I would take that anywhere. The last piece of gear would probably be a delay/reverb pedal by Hungry robot pedals called the wash. That thing makes every guitar sound beautiful. Also, I hope i'm given an amp and cables to make this all work!
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Creativity, innovation, and originality!
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm heavily inspired by the likes of Blake Mills and Shawn Everett. There work on Alabama Shakes second record is phenomenal.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I usually provide comprehensive drum tracks, mixing work, and production in indie, rock, pop, and singer-songwriter genres.
