The options are pretty limitless with this. Everything from tracking full-band arrangements to a drum tracking session. Together we can collaborate online to get the best result regardless of your environment and, or equipment.
DRUM TRACKS: I can record and email you drum tracks from my studio. The coolest part is we can hang out/collaborate online. Super fun workflow. I've done drum tracks for people all around the world. Artists I've drummed for include Rufio (Nitro Records), Audio Karate (Kung Fu Records), Wheeland Brothers (Ineffable Music) and many more.
MIXING: I love mixing all styles of music. Check out my work!
FULL PRODUCTION: I enjoy working with bands and solo artists. Full production usually includes: Pre-Production, Tracking, Editing, Post-Production, Mixing, Mastering, and Celebratory drinks.
RECORDING: My studio fully equipped and can handle any recording task. We have a spacious live room (great for drums) located in Downtown Pomona, CA
MASTERING: Mastering is done with an analog/digital hybrid approach and incorporates Pro Tools, our Tree Audio Roots console, various outboard gear, and an MCI 1" reel-to-reel tape machine.

Interview with Mike Jimenez
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: As a session player drum tracks are my main offerings. As a Producer/Engineer most of my clients include solo artists and/or bands under the indie, punk, alternative, and rock umbrellas but I also enjoy doing styles such as hip hop and jazz. Solo artists enjoy working with me because i'm a great co-pilot; and being a multi instrumentalist; the two of us can create awesome full arrangements of their songs without having to bring in other musicians. Bands usually come to me for my experience as a producer and as a musician. I enjoy bringing the best out of others!
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Many come to mind for different reasons: Jon Brion - I admire his style and his knack for arranging; Ethan Johns - His recordings make you feel like you're sitting in the room while the songs being performed. A great example is Ryan Adams - Heartbreaker. some artists I like include: David Bowie, Neutral Milk Hotel + Elephant 6 in general, Sigur Ros, M. Ward, The Zombies, The Beatles, The Smiths, Queen, Talking Heads, The Clash, The Jam, ELO, The Bad Plus, The Beach Boys.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: The heart of my setup is a Tree Audio recording console. Other than that I have various outboard gear from the likes of Chandler Limited, Inward Connections, API, Great River, Summit Audio. I also offer analog tape recording. 1" 8-track MCI machine. My main DAW in Pro Tools but sometimes I'll also use Reaper. My studio has a spacious live room that is great for drums and piano - here's my studio's website if you want to take a look - modernfuzz.com
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: If we're not physically in the studio together I highly enjoy working together online via video chat. We can even stream the session audio in realtime high-definition. It's pretty fun and I've even had local clients do sessions this way.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I strive to pinpoint an artists uniqueness and highlight it. I also have a knack for filling out arrangements.
