This was my second time working with Classy and the results were once again perfect! I send him the song and got back high quality stems the next day with all the tracks I requested and even a few extra tracks of harmony ideas that worked really well in the song.
He's as good as any of the top session vocalists were on Music Row or LA back in the 80s/90s; a true professional
Knocked it out in a day and the results were perfect!

Interview with Classy Williams
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm working on a self-produced 3 song EP, and I have a number of vocal features coming out soon with some amazing artists that I'm super excited about
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Bobby Saint - that dude is unbelievably talented and has some crazy new projects in the works
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Macbook, Roli Seaboard, SM7b, Akai MPD218, and some V-Moda headphones
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Funk-influenced pop/R&B with a hint of old soul
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Making music is hard work, but don't forget to have fun and enjoy yourself
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Passion with a guarantee - I won't take on a project unless I'm certain that I'll kill it, and that requires a genuine emotional connection to the music... I'm also real quick with coming up with lyrics and melodies on the spot
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I'm lucky enough to have access to a few professional studios, so I'll typically run a Shure SM7b through either an Avalon channel strip or a Manley Core. If I'm recording at home I'll run the SM7b direct into an M-Audio interface, and I always do my vocal tracking and comping in Logic X.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Musically I'm definitely inspired by Donny Hathaway, Lenny Williams, The Temptations, American Football, Bobby Saint and for sure Bruno Mars... all of their music has had a huge influence on my sound. I'm a huge fan of Zak Waters (Pretty Sister) - I love his vocal style, and he sets a high bar with his live shows! R3LL is a super inspirational producer and a constant reminder of the value of hard work and patience.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I write and sing toplines (lyrics and melody) for other producers
