Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I had a song of mine I wrote feature on BBC Introducing in the East Midlands, It took around two hours to layer the vocals and get everything mixed which was a really quick turn around.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Im currently working on my own top lines for my album
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to work hard and deliver the top line to your track within seven working days.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I enjoy the freedom of creativity.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Where do your ideas for top line melodies and writing come from ? I'd say its mostly drawn from personal experiences.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That its easy.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What would you like the concept of your track to be about?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Please make sure you're open to ideas as it makes things easier
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I can deliver a wide range of styles varying from Rnb, Hip hop, indie, pop...
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Jamie Woon. His vocals and style are so unique and I like how he projects imagery through his writing. I'd be interested to find out where he gets his ideas from.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I would say equally writing top line and vocals. I won several singing awards at my school back in the day, and have received local attention for my songs on BBC Introducing in the East Midlands.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Energy, attention and a lot of detail.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Send over the bare bones of your track, then I can immediately get to work on the writing (top line) and then I can pop into the studio for a few hours and get your song finished!
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I go to my local recording studio in Nottingham ROFL studios.
I was the Top Line writer and Singer in this production
