After starting his career in the touring and producing worlds, Brandon transitioned into film music and found success with the acclaimed Amazon documentary series “Small Town Monsters” of which he has scored over ten films. His score for the “Boggy Creek Monster” documentary, in this series, earned him honors for “Best Film Score” from the Hollywood International Independent Documentary Awards. Multiple films from this series have reached the top ten bestseller lists on Amazon, including the recent, “The Bray Road Beast”, which hit #1 in both the Documentary and Horror categories. They have collectively been viewed over 7 million times.
Brandon has developed a unique compositional style focusing on mixing traditional orchestral elements with modern electronic sounds and unconventional soundscapes. He has composed the music to short films such as “Zenith” for which he won the “Best Sound” award at the Independent Shorts Awards. He has also worked in the production and music library world, working with esteemed companies such as Current Music and Ear Parade, contributing four songs to their album of trailer scores called “Trailer Scores: Future Action”. Originally from the Cleveland area, Brandon lives in Los Angeles and has earned a Bachelor’s Degree of Music Composition (Scoring for Visual Media) with Honors at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood.
