Little House is a home recording studio located in the Mississippi neighborhood of Portland, Oregon inside a tiny house. It is run by Peter Ryan, who has been recording music for over 16 years. Little House primarily tracks to ProTools but can also accommodate tape. Ideal for solo artists and small groups who want an intimate recording experience.
Little House offers recording (tracking) and mixing at affordable rates in a comfortable environment. Whether you want to start a song or album from scratch, add tracks to pre-existing work, or mix recordings you already have, we can do it all in the comfort of a clean, warmly decorated home studio.
Equipped with ProTools, a variety of high quality condenser and dynamic mics, guitars, a bass, a vintage tube amp, a 4-track cassette recorder, and professional monitors, Little House has everything you need to make a unique and professional sounding recording.
Peter, the engineer, has experience recording a variety of styles, including folk, rock, jazz, hip-hop, soul, sound-healing, classical, voice-over, and more! As an experienced facilitator, organizer, teacher, performer, and recording artist, Peter can help you find your sound, translate your ideas into songs, help layer instruments for sonic texture, offer encouragement, or take the back seat if you're confident in your process.
