I approach music production from three distinct angles: creative workflow, technical prowess, and artistic vision. I take an artist's sonic fantasy to the next level through my refined synergistic process and help them achieve the sounds in their head.
Since relocating from the Big Island of Hawaii in 2010, I've recorded, produced, and mixed a slew of records from various genres in the veins of Hard Rock, Pop, Trap, Synthwave, and Electro Pop. His realms of experience range from small bedroom studios to fully-racked commercial studio spaces.

I have been very blessed to work with this gifted sound engineer on two of my albums.
Tyler shows deep commitment to the music itself, looking at the work with fresh ears, wanting to bring its spirit out for all to hear. Not only is Tyler passionate about production and recording, but he is also incredibly detailed and savvy at the board.
The man knows his mics, is a Protools wiz, and has a kind humility and grounded presence in the studio. I would trust him with absolutely any project, no matter the genre, no matter the size. I can’t wait to get into the studio with him in the future.I came to Tyler as a singer and composer with no previous professional recording experience; everything that I started with was recorded in my bedroom. While it was a personal passion project, I really appreciated his desire to take it just as seriously as I did. Tyler was great for the task of transforming & crystallizing (without sacrificing authenticity) my vision about the finer details of my lo-fi goth-rainbow shoegaze sound - and yes, why not, that's a real musical genre.
Worked with Tyler for my daughter's album and I cannot say enough good things about him. He was very professional and he put a lot of energy into creating the best possible mix of her music. The way he motivated my daughter was amazing and his preparation and mixing were inspirational. Also, as a personal note, he is just great to work with. Will be working with him again!
I came to Tyler with a very personal and serious project that I recorded at home. We went through the motions of figuring out exactly what each track needed, and were able to troubleshoot some tracking issues down to the fine grained details. I highly recommend working with Tyler and I know I will again in the future.
Tyler has been my go-to guy since we met in college years ago. Now that I've started my business, he's still the Pro I need to take care of anything. His skill-set is not only behind the mixing board for post-production, but extends into live production as well.
He's always enthusiastic about taking on new projects, but he's also dedicated to making sure that he completes whatever you throw at him at 150%.
Tyler is amazing. I have worked with him on two instrumental funk albums with The Machiavelvets, and just wrapped up a complicated indie/alternative album with vocalist Sarah Herzog. From recording to the final mix, Tyler goes the extra mile. His attention to detail in the studio coupled with his cheerful enthusiasm and love of music always seems to pull the best from his performers, and his ProTools mastery and incredible ear take it from there to perfection. He truly cares about helping the artist attain their vision - and is wonderful to work with. Looking forward to our next project.
Tyler is not only professional but passionate. He's tracked my vocals as well as co-produced and mixed my songs. It's inspiring watching him move with ease on Pro Tools. He brings out the best in an artist and maintains their signature style without compromising the technical and commercial standard we, as artists, strive for. Hearing the final mix is always a treat and I'm constantly blown away at the quality. It's polished and refined. I will work with him again and again!
