One of my favorite quotes is: "If it sounds good, it is good" - I play guitar for a living so whether it's cutting a solo for someone, giving a guitar lesson or performing live, I play guitar every day and love what I do. Soundcloud tracks on this page showcase my lead and rhythm playing.
Robby Miller started playing guitar at the tender age of 10. His family, already very musically aware, influenced him with their firm love of British and American Folk music. Robby’s progress soon saw him playing alongside the top names on the Bedfordshire music scene and at local jam nights. After only two years of playing guitar, at age 12 Robby won the Bedfordshire regional music competition, Acoustic Roots, where he earned the right to play alongside Martin Carthy.
In his early teens, Robby left folk for rock music which saw him through many teenage bands and outfits. At age 18 Robby was already making an impression with London based agents and made his first TV debut performances backing X Factor finalists on the UK's Channel 4 and breakfast television show, GMTV.
In 2012 Robby backed guitar for Ryan Roxie's (Alice Cooper) acoustic UK tour which would lead to being asked to join Ryan with a full band for more shows in 2014.
As well as playing live, Robby has vast experience in a recording environment for solo artists and bands. Robby works quickly and professionally making sure all guidelines suggested by the artist and producer are covered.
