Jordan Kirk on SoundBetter

Authentic, native west Texan with a bass to tenor range and excellent pitch. I'd love to lend my vocals to your next project, and be a part of something big!

I will provide vocals to your tracks, am also willing to help tweak lyrics and melodies to make it the best possible song! I am a musician who actively gigs regionally in Texas and have released two albums of my own, check them out on my website and see what you think. I've run the gambit on different sounds of country, their are many, and have blues and bluegrass influences as well. I've sang my whole life and had personal instruction, I am very confident in my pitch and tone, and would give a very professional sounding vocal, recorded with a producer in the area at a state-of-the-art studio. Would love to work with you!

I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.

Interview with Jordan Kirk

  1. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  2. A: Vet our work. If you don't think the quality is there on our own recordings, why would it be for you? Definitely make sure it's got a professional sounding mix and master.

  3. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  4. A: Actively 2.5 years, but playing and singing my whole life.

  5. Q: How would you describe your style?

  6. A: Johnny Cash's bluegrass outlaw cousin.

  7. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  8. A: Dolly or Reba. Some of the most unique female vocals in country music, I would love to do a duet with one or both of them, together or separately.

  9. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  10. A: EQ

  11. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  12. A: Country, but love folk and bluegrass and blues as well, and have dabbled in each with friends. If you can hear it in your head or in an inspired moment, I can make it happen!

  13. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  14. A: Unique vocals, hard to put a finger on who I sound like. A combination of several influences and a regional inflection have left me with a different sounding voice that I'm very proud of.
