French/English singer, songwriter and producer based in Montreal. Ten years of experience in songwriting, formal vocal training, and five years in music production. I released my own project this year under the name Klarence. I'm currently building my client base and working with independent artists.
My strengths are songwriting, lyrics, toplines, and melody. I perform vocals/piano and I produce remotely from my home studio. My core genres are pop and alternative, though I'm open to exploring other directions. I work in French and English, writing natively in both languages.
Professionalism, clear communication, and a genuine creative partnership are what I bring to every project. Ideally I'm looking for long-term collaborations. If you're looking for someone adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to your vision, let's talk! Send me a message with your project details and I'll get back to you within 1-2 days.

Interview with Sara Maud
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm working on my second EP.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What inspires you? Any reference tracks or visuals are helpful. If your project was a movie, what would it be?
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I like to have fun and play around with my music. I love writing catchy melodies and playing around with words/rhythm.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I'm really passionate about learning new things. If I'm asked to do something I'm not familiar with, I will do loads of research and pick it up very quickly.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I work methodically and efficiently, with a clear process from first demo to final delivery. Also, my creative palette draws from a wide range of influences (music, film, video games, literature, psychology...) which keeps my work fresh and gives me a deeper understanding of the stories I help tell.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Usually I start by writing as much lyrics ideas as possible. Then I write a song base on piano with chords, melody and lyrics. Then I record a demo and if I like it enough I produce it into a finished product.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: • Logic Pro X • Apex 460B microphone with pop filter • Shure SM48 condenser microphone • Focusrite Scarlett Solo audio interface • Acoustic & electric piano • MIDI keyboards and beat pads
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Billie Eilish, Grimes, Lana Del Rey, Lady Gaga, Marina and the Diamonds, NCT, Cortis, Dem Joints, Timbaland, Pharrell Williams, Labrinth, Gener8ion, Flume
